may
watched "May" today, its a pretty gd show. there was a nice film quality to it. and i thought the part abt her stabbing her own eye out was cool (k so when i watched it i had my hands shielding my eyes..i managed to see half of it though!).
hooray! on wed i get to see everybody again. i cant wait. i havent been thinking anything deep of late, so i shant bore anyone right now. just a song to share:

its raining
jus finished our video.. it's quite funny and pointless i think :) posters are done too. gimmicks left. i wonder if we'll still have energy to finish those. i miss my class!! u guys are the only reason why i go to school...
according to my daddy, sch will be kept closed for one more wk. dunno how true that is, (supposedly mr teo will announce tmr morning) but the only thing i can think of is what abt the scholarship interview then? do i still go down to MOE? yeah i know, thats a really stupid thing to be thinking abt. but the SARS thing is too damn disruptive. pissssh.
irrelevant: was jus thinking abt how screwed up the political system was in france in the 18th century. really cant keep track of all the different forms of government. i really wonder why i took history. geog and its rocks might have been less overwhelming.

tuition
i think im a lousy tuition teacher. whenever joy asks me stuff abt grammar, i tell her "it just sounds wrong! read it out. doesn't it sound wrong?" or smth lame like that. sigh how? her grades for eng are a miserable 69.5%... i feel so shi1 bai4... on the bright side, ive been getting her to read nice books~! :) so that's very good.
i hope the hist test will be postponed man. 4 days is not enough to study for it... to hell with robespierre and the like.
went to yuns house today. yun, if ure reading this, thanks for a nice day :) i think my bridge is improving ever so slightly.
gonna start reading "a room with a view". does anyone have "the hours" by michael cunningham? lend me!

a piece of heaven
you don't notice the dead leaving when they really choose to leave you. you're not meant to. at most you feel them as a whisper or the wave of a whisper undulating down.
our heaven had an ice cream shop where, when you asked for peppermint stick ice cream, no one ever said, "It's seasonal"; it had a newspaper where our pictures appeared a lot and made us look important; it had real men in it and beautiful women too, because Holly and I were devoted to fashion magazines. sometimes holly seemed like she wasn't paying attention, and other times she was gone when i went looking for her. that was when she went to a part of heaven we didn't share. i missed her then, but it was odd sort of missing because by then i knew the meaning of forever.

oh no.. this is so scary i feel damn cold even though no one in my family is :( if i start coughing i will prob die with fright.
a very bored da ge called me today. he's funny... always inciting me to commit sins in tt irreverent way of his. and going on abt how good he is in math and how all ri guys are damn zai.. like him. oh right. :)i remember one classic conversation the best. it went smth like this..

like what the hell right? :) but he said it so seriously i was tickled.
went to buy uniforms after filming today. had a good laugh over how we all look like factory workers, and how easily we blend in with the walls and the floors... but ultimately (dammit) we'll be wearing it for two yrs! so the joke's on us. im getting thoughts of defecting to green lala-land purely for the sake of the u.. but jeez thats spastic isnt it.
praying that the break wont be extended.
its two very special ppl's bday today. happy bday dear, these are trying times in a way... but its all gonna work out for the better.. i think. im lost, so i honestly dunno. happy bday khoonliat, we are arch-enemies and yet we can talk on the deeper level. that's rare and it's nice. lets play badminton i feel like trashing u again. :)

watched the hours today. its a really rich movie, very intriguing and to tell the truth i didnt get much of it. :) but i tink its one of those movies which don't really have a point or a statement to make. it kinda goes beyond that.. some msg abt life. i feel like reading mrs dalloway after watching it...

so, with the new computer in my brother's rm we've taken to talking over icq even though i can hear him cough from where im sitting :)

what was i saying abt communication? :) anyway! i played badminton at acs(i) yesterday w my classmates and it was great fun. no wonder they keep going back to play every wk... i shall endeavour to join them more often. tuition, was as usual, interesting. i gave her Charlotte's Web to read.also gave her a ton of homework. heng quan and grace (joys younger siblings) were building sandcastles at the nearby playground. one for singapore, one for iraq and one for kuwait. hahaha.. then they threw stones at iraq and bombed it out :) so cute. "singapore" has an impressive impregnable fortress...
ive finished reading Oxygen and im now on the Lovely Bones. its excellent stuff man... it got me crying within the first reading. my mum came in and was so shocked cos i was jus reading and crying :)
